A paradox to ponder
Why is that those that have the least to worry about unwelcome same-sex come-ons tend to obsess about them so much?
Put differently:
Why do the ugliest people complain about gay people hitting on them?

Ooh! Elaboration, please!
None really.
It just occurred to me that straight guys that gay guys actually find attractive don’t really seem to be offended by gay attention, while the ugliest straight guys are worried about gay men hitting on them.
A friend of mine has a theory:
- good-looking guys are just used to getting the attention; it’s nothing new to them
- ugly guys worry that if no women are hitting on them, they might be forced to take gay flirting men (real or imaginary!) up on their offer!
I’ve noticed this too.
